Android 10 is still a long way for a lot of devices and smartphone users are eagerly waiting to get a taste of Android 10 updates on their devices. Google has released Android 11 Developer Preview 1 for the developers but, it is only available for the Pixel users. However, in a recent development, while a lot of Xiaomi phone users including Redmi Note 7 Pro users are waiting for the Android 10 update, the Redmi Note 7 Pro was now spotted running Android 11 on a Geekbench listing.

To recall, Redmi Note 7 Pro was launched back in 2019 and is powered by Snapdragon 675 which is paired with 4/6 GB of RAM, a big 4000 mAh battery, a 6.3-inch display with Corning Gorilla Glass 5, Adreno 612 GPU, and up to 128 GB of onboard storage. In the camera department, it offers a dual-camera setup with 48 MP primary shooter and in the front, you get a 13 MP selfie shooter. The handset also features a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner as well.

Now, coming back to the latest development, Android 11 will be rolled out for the OEMs in Q3 2020. Taking a look at the Geekbench listing, the Redmi Note 7 Pro scores a single-core score of 512 while a multi-core score of 1512. The listing clearly mentioned the device is running on Android 11. However, readers should note that anyone with some knowledge of rooting and tweaking the smartphone can exaggerate the Geekbench results. So, every information related to this should be taken with a pinch of salt as there is not much information to confirm this piece of news.

The Android 10 update for the Redmi Note 7 Pro in China has already made its way to the users and let us hope that the Chinese OEM rolls out the Android 10 update for the device and once the update is out, we will keep you posted regarding the information about it.
