The Real Housewives of Orange County: Vicki Gunvalson and Kelly Dodd finally “surrender,” and end their feud once and for all.

On Tuesday’s episode of The Real Housewives of Orange County, viewers witnessed a small miracle as Kelly and Vicki seemingly put their hate for one another aside and patched things up. The two housewives had been in an ongoing feud since Vicki insinuated at the last reunion from season 13 that Kelly was addicted to cocaine. The phenomenon took place while all the ladies were cooking their own dinner at the Miraval Resort and Spa in Arizona. The two both complimented each other on their good looks and then the tears started to flow.

At the last dinner of the trip, Vicki addressed the table saying she knows she was ugly; Kelly surprised the rest of the cast by facing Vicki and disagreeing, telling her she does not think that the O.G. was ugly. In the blink of an eye, fans watched as over a year’s worth of tension melted away from the two, with Vicki rising from her seat to go over to hug Kelly. Kelly sobbed, saying, “You don’t know what you’ve done to me. You have no idea and I’ve never done anything to you.” It was obvious that Kelly’s words struck a nerve with Vicki as she waved her napkin and said, “I surrender.”

Viewers were surprised that Kelly seemed receptive to Vicki’s apology because all season long she absolutely refused to be in the same room as her accuser. Vicki had tried many times on other occasions to clear the air with Kelly, but was always shut down when Kelly would storm off yelling. Vicki not only spread drug rumors, but also rumors that Kelly was involved in a “sex train” and that she was not allowed on her daughter’s school grounds. Kelly furiously denied the allegations and went on to call Vicki a pig. This act of war immediately set off Vicki, as the pig was a reference to season 7 when Slade Smiley called her Miss Piggy.

The two frenemies have a lot of history together, and by both acknowledging that the fighting needed to stop, there seems like there could be a bright future for the friendship to heal. The two continued to cry in each other’s arms until Tamara Judge yelled out for some tequila to break the somber mood. Both women looked at each other and promised to end the war. Only time will tell if the two will have actually moved past their differences and put the past away.
