Tinsley Mortimer sparked rumors that she quit The Real Housewives of NYC after skipping a cast trip. Leave it to the women of the city to make a mountain out of a molehill because Tinsley decided to pass on a tropical vacation. The women were all smiles in their social media pictures, enjoying the sun and the waves.
For fans, there have already been one too many changes among the cast of the New York City housewives since Bethenny Frankel announced her departure. Now, the blonde bandit may be looking for the nearest exit after she had become engaged. Mortimer and Scott Kluth have had an on-again/off-again relationship for the past four years. The Palm Springs native had said that her dating life with Kluth was complicated as she was ready for a commitment and he was happy to take it slow. Fans watched as he showered her with expensive gifts, but still held out committing to her. As season 11 unraveled, fans watched as Mortimer became more and more miserable with her boyfriend and the uncertainty of their future, leading to a final break up. But, last month, the two announced their long-time-coming engagement.
Now, according to Cheat Sheet, the wealthy housewife had apparently skipped a girls trip away with her fellow cast members while Bravo was shooting for the new season. The ladies of season 12 decided to plan a trip to Mexico, but Mortimer was nowhere to be seen. Fans are already jumping to conclusions that another housewife may want to leave the show. All of the ladies, including newbie Leah McSweeney, made the journey to a beach resort called Quintana Roo. All the ladies went to show off their opulent lifestyles, including Sonja Morgan, Luann de Lesseps, Dorinda Medley, and Ramona Singer.
Morgan was that one who decided to share a photo of her girlfriends and pointed out that Mortimer was missing. Some fans assumed that the reality star was planning her wedding to Kluth, which is set to take place sometime next year. While her fiancé works and lives in Chicago, she is forced to leave New York City often to be with him, which also includes missing out on filming. This past November, Mortimer skipped out on filming with the Bravo crew to spend time with Kluth, which had caused reports to fly with viewers saying that she was making moves to leave the popular franchise.
While it was evident that Mortimer is very happy with the direction that her life is headed, she is also already making some big changes, such as moving to Chicago so that she and Kluth can live together. Not one to be able to keep her mouth shut, De Lesseps hinted that her friend would always have a place with the Real Housewives. Mortimer has not commented on the rumors, so it would seem - for now - her position is safe on the show.
