The Real Housewives of Orange County’s Tamra Judge said she would quit the show if her estranged daughter asked her to. The Bravo personality has always been very open about her struggles maintaining a good relationship with her daughter, but continues to hold out hope for a reconciliation.

The relationship between the mother and daughter seemed to be on the mend in 2017 when Sidney invited her mother to her high school graduation. But when Judge shared photos of the ceremony on her Instagram, it caused a new wall between the two women. Just like her mother, Sidney took to social media and posted a lengthy message that read she had given her mother some conditions upon accepting the invitation to the graduation, one of them being not to post anything about her big day.

The stars of The Real Housewives of Orange County are no strangers to family drama, but Judge has had a particularly hard time when it comes to her daughter. On Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen, Judge explained that she would leave the popular reality show in a minute if it meant that she could have a chance of fixing her broken relationship with her daughter. As usual, Cohen asked some in-depth and personal questions, starting by asking if she would leave all the fame behind if Sidney asked her to. The housewife said she would.

The “Tres Amigas” member and her eldest daughter have had trouble getting along ever since Judge divorced her father, Simon Barney, back in 2011. Their unhappy marriage, as well as its aftermath, was documented by Bravo. Both parents were legally granted equal custody of their three children - Spencer, Sophia, and Sidney - but after Sidney chose to live with her father full-time, Judge surrendered custody. In the last season of The Real Housewives of Orange County, the mother of four disclosed that she would make the effort to text her daughter at least once a month just to tell her that she loved her, and the door was always open in case she needed anything. Sadly, according to Judge, her daughter never responded to any of her text messages.

Even though Judge’s relationship with Sidney is damaged, the reality star is still very close with her other three children. Her youngest daughter Sophia even expressed an interest in appearing on the show with her mother. Unfortunately, Judge’s ex-husband refused to grant permission to his daughter to participate. Fans continue to hope that Judge can one day be reunited with her estranged daughter and work through their issues.
