Robyn and Juan Dixon, of Real Housewives of Potomac’s, got engaged again after divorcing. It has been a long time coming as fans saw how the two still had chemistry last season.
The Real Housewives of Potomac is the newest addition to Bravo’s Real Housewives franchise. The cameras follow around the ladies who live on the outskirts of Washington, D.C., and their drama has been off the charts. The spinoff debuted in 2016, and since then, the ladies have been fighting it out for the title of top housewife.
Sometimes, high school sweethearts can make it work after all - even if there was a divorce in between. People shared the news that Robyn will be walking down the aisle once again with her ex-husband Juan. During the season 5 wrap party for the cast, Juan got down on his knee and asked his forever girlfriend to become his wife once more. Neither one has officially posted to social media about the good news, but guests at the holiday party let the secret out of the bag. There were numerous photos posted that included Robyn and her giant ring. In one photo in particular that her friend Erana Tylor posted, fans can see the two friends hugging with the brand new engagement ring in full view.
The couple’s relationship had been a work in progress for the first couple of seasons that Bravo filmed. Fans learned that Juan was a professional NBA player and first proposed when the two were on a spring break trip in 2005 after meeting in high school. The romantic wrote out the question in the white sand of Miami Beach. The first wedding took place in July of 2005 and before they split, the two welcomed two sons. After the divorce was finalized in 2012, the exes remained under the same roof, choosing to live together for their children’s best interest.
During season 4 of The Real Housewives of Potomac, fans watched as the couple’sn close friendship blossomed into a relationship, with Robyn admitting on the reunion that they were intimate once again. Her co-stars also wondered when Juan would pop the question, as it seemed like a possible next step. Just in time for the holidays, this news is an exciting - if not unexpected - gift, just in time for the season.
