Real Housewives’ of Orange County’s Kelly Dodd hit Shannon Beador over the head with a mallet, sending her to the ER. The two had been at odds before in previous season, but nothing that led to a physical altercation.

The women of Orange County have always been known for their outrageous fights and often public battles, and this particular fight occurred over a healing circle where the women were trying to clear their auras of any nastiness. Dodd, who recently broke up with her plastic surgeon boyfriend did not seem remorseful in the least for her behavior when she told Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live that she wished she had hit Shannon harder.

On the most recent episode of The Real Housewives of Orange County, Shannon was forced to go to the hospital after one of her frenemies hit her on the head. Shannon had always been the resident hypochondriac, so after Kelly hit her with a mallet, she claimed that she could not see out of one of her eyes. The mother of three decided to go immediately to urgent care in Phoenix to get evaluated after her two friends, Tamara Judge and Gina Kirschenheiter, convinced her she could have internal bleeding. Shannon complained of intense head pain as she rubbed at the bump that was left behind from the attack.

Shannon had tried to set up a nice girl’s retreat for all the women as most are going through struggles in their lives. She had invited Kelly Dodd, Emily Simpson and Braunwyn Windham-Burke, as well as Tamara and Gina to the Miraval Arizona Resort and Spa in Arizona. Upon arrival, the ladies were rushed to a mediation circle where the girls were asked to wear a metal bowl on their heads in hopes of finding peace. Shannon stood up first to volunteer while rituals were being performed, and Kelly snuck up behind Shannon and hit the bowl on her head. All of the women were shocked and the therapist was appalled at the behavior of the grown woman, saying that “It was not cool.” Naturally, as is Kelly’s personality, she did not take Shannon’s complaining seriously at all, saying it was just a joke. Kelly already knew that Shannon would be mad at her for the rest of the trip and tried to tell the other women that she was not being malicious in any way.

Luckily for Shannon, the hospital was not too far from the resort, and she was able to get checked out. The hospital released Shannon after confirming that she had a mild concussion. The nurses also had to ask if she would want to press charges against Kelly for assault. Thankfully for Kelly, Shannon had the better sense than to open a whole new can of beans. That said, Shannon does have a full year to file charges if she so chooses, so Kelly better be on her best behavior.
