The Real Housewives of New Jersey’s Joe Giudice wants to become an MMA fighter. He revealed his intentions are simple - he just wants to fight someone. After being deported back to Italy, Joe has a lot of spare time on his hands.
After months of being held in Immigration and Customs Enforcement Custody, the 47-year-old was sent back to his home country of Italy earlier this month. Joe and Teresa were indicted for filing a false bankruptcy report in 2013, for trying to hide their earnings. The Italian native also had other charges brought against him as well, being indicted for failing to file tax returns between the years of 2004 and 2008. Teresa Giudice was sentenced to 15 months behind bars for her part in the scheme and was left federal prison after only having served 11 months. Upon her release, Giudice reported immediately to the federal prison to start serving his three-year sentence.
Now it would seem that Giudice had his heart set on becoming a professional MMA fighter. During The Real Housewives of New Jersey Special Event: Joe and Teresa Unlocked that aired Sunday, October 27th Giudice appeared via satellite from his new home in Salerno, Italy. During the tell-all special that lasted one hour, the couple spoke openly about the future of their marriage. According to People, Giudice even opened up about his dream of pursuing mixed martial arts. The last blow out fight that fans saw Joe involved in was with his brother in law, Joe Gorga during season 7 when the families were at war with one another.
When asked by Andy Cohen if the rumors of him training to become a fighter were true, the father of four answered that he would like to look into it. He did not want to sit around and be bored so he would like to do something as a hobby. He shared his enjoyment for the extreme sport and explained that his whole had done a version of MMA his whole life saying he had always had to pay to go beat up people. The reality star is intrigued that now people get paid to do it. The Italian native joked that he had a lot of pent up aggression and would enjoy going into the ring to fight somebody just because he could, a no holds bar brawl.
Giudice has his oldest daughter, Gia, to thank for the MMA rumors that are going around about him. She shared a video of her father’s training with his brother, Pete, who also is in Italy with Giudice. Most fans are excited at the thought of being able to watch the Italian stallion being able to fight inside a ring with a competitor, maybe he will even try to win back the heart of his wife.
