It looks like Joe Giudice will be staying in his native Italy following his recent split with Teresa. The Real Housewives of New Jersey star shared a new Instagram post that implied he has no immediate plans to return to the United States after being deported following his prison release.
Joe’s message comes after his Christmas holiday with his daughters, while Teresa enjoyed her holiday with her brother, sister-in-law, and ex-boyfriend Anthony Delorenzo. The estranged couple recently announced their split after 20 years of marriage. Joe and Teresa had been central figures on The Real Housewives of New Jersey since the popular Bravo show premiered back in 2009. The couple married back in October of 1999 and welcomed four daughters: Gia, Milania, Gabriella, and Audrina. Viewers saw the married couple go through serious legal trouble after being indicted for filing a false bankruptcy report that sent Teresa to prison for 11 months and Joe for 41 months - which ended in his deportation back to Italy earlier this year.
Teresa and the couple’s four daughters went to visit Joe in Italy after a bombshell interview with Andy Cohen where Joe and Teresa revealed that the trip would help them determine the status of their relationship. But it appears their decision was to separate and try their hand at co-parenting. However, their divorce has not been made final, despite Teresa appearing to have moved on with her ex, Delorenzo. Meanwhile, Joe took to Instagram where he shared a throwback with his estranged wife and four daughters. “This was taken at MILANIA’s COMMUNION!” Joe, 47, captioned a 2017 throwback photo with Teresa and their daughters, Gia, 18, Gabriella, 15, Milania, 13, and Audriana, 10, on Sunday, December 29. “I will always adore the memories I made in America and how much fun we had as a family! I will always love my family and care about them, even if their [sic] not here because of choices so tonight I share with you all of me! We had wonderful times in America as a family that I will always cherish forever!”
Joe returned to Instagram the next day to share a selfie with his daughters from their Christmas trip to Italy, US Weekly reports. “In 2020, I may have to learn to be self-restraint with bowl usage, hot water heating, or lack of American amenities but I can get accustom [sic] to that cause I get to see these faces again!!” he captioned the Instagram post on Monday, December 30. “Till next time!!”
It was only last month when it was confirmed that Teresa and Joe would be separating. Close sources confirmed the couple “have been separated” and wanted to both move on. “Teresa and Joe have separated, but have no plans to divorce yet. Teresa and Joe talked about their future when she and the girls were in Italy and decided it was best for them to separate,” a source told Us in early December. “Neither of them wanted to be in a long-distance relationship. Joe has been dating in Italy, Teresa is busy taking care of their girls right now. They harbor no ill will toward each other and will continue to coparent their kids.” While many are sad to see Teresa and Joe’s marriage possibly end, many fans of the show have hope for the Giudice family.
