The Real Housewives of Atlanta’s Eva Marcille has shown off the first photos of her baby son, Maverick. The photos have the baby posed and wearing cute themed outfits while Eva struts her stuff in front of the camera.
Marcille, who may be best known for her time spent with Tyra Banks on America’s Next Top Model, married Michael Sterling in October of 2018 and their wedding was televised as part of The Real Housewives of Atlanta. Fans will be able to watch Marcille’s pregnancy journey when season 12 premieres in November, and she is hoping to bond with Kandi Burruss and Kenya Moore, since they also have young children.
In an Us Weekly exclusive, Marcille shared photos of Maverick, her newborn son. The glowing mother shared details of the birth, saying that her son came a few weeks earlier than expected, but that is why his name fits him so perfectly. The 34-year-old model told the magazine that she began feeling contractions three days before she went into full-blown labor, at least giving her a bit of warning. At the time, the reality star felt it was important that she checked herself into the hospital just to be on the safe side. She then added that “everything went smooth” from there, delivering a healthy baby.

Baby Maverick was born on September 27 and is the second child for Michael Sterling and Eva. The two have Michael Todd Sterling Jr., who is 17 months old, and Eva has a daughter from a previous relationship named Marley, who is five. The siblings are infatuated with their new baby brother, according to the parents. The Bravo personality said that Marley loves being the big sister so she can boss the two brothers around, but has also stepped up to help her mother by keeping the brothers preoccupied. She continued to say that for her, being a mother is so incredible and it amazed her how different each of her three children are. The reality star did acknowledge that this last pregnancy was a bit harder on her body, but she pushed through.
Most stars expect a push present after they have given birth, but Marcille said she did not need one from her husband because their family is so “blessed” that it would not be necessary. The family of five is about to move into their new house and her CBD line has just launched with positive reviews. Now that filming of season 12 has wrapped, the mother just wants to bask in the glory of her family and enjoy quality time with the new baby.
