The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Erika Girardi is officially returning to the new season, despite rumors that claimed otherwise. Bravoholics can now rejoice that the singer will be back to keep things real with the other, often unbalanced ladies.
The “It’s Expensive To Be Me” singer joined the popular franchise during the show’s sixth season. She found fame with her music performing as her alter ego Erika Jayne and became a fast-rising star in the LGBTQ community. The singer and actress has obtained nine number one hits on the Dance Club Charts. On The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Girardi was known to wear high-end designer clothes and bring her glam squad on every trip, often showing up in outlandish outfits that fans adored.
There are always rumors circling in the Real Housewives franchise of potential cast members not being asked back. Despite recent speculation about Girardi’s return for season 10 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, it is now a go that the singer had indeed been asked back. A source told People that the reality star had already shot episodes for the new season and finished filming not too long ago. Girardi will be joined by returning housewives Kyle Richards, Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave, Dorit Kemsley, Denise Richards, and Lisa Rinna for the new season which has yet to be given a premiere date. The cast is still all very friendly with one another and will all be seated in the front row of the runway show for Richards’ new line, which had also been scheduled to be filmed for the new season.
More exciting than hearing about Girardi’s return is the fact that Bravo has added two new housewives to the 90210 zip code. After Lisa Vanderpumps abrupt departure from the show, the network decided to add Garcelle Beauvais and Sutton Stracke. Beauvais will make Beverly Hills franchise history as the first black Housewife in a predominately white cast. She is also a fashion model and a Haitian-American actress. Stracke is a famous party planner who was named one of the top 100 party planners in 2017. She is also in the process of opening her own fashion store that will sell clothing, jewelry, and luxury handbags. Stracke is a mother of three and an active charity leader. She will be seen helping out her philanthropies during the upcoming season.
The new season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is not set to premiere until sometime in 2020, but knowing that one of the favorite Housewives is coming back is great news. Hopefully, the two new additions will be able to mesh well with the existing cast or there will be drama galore.
