Dina Manzo from Real Housewives of New Jersey recently opened up about her new nose. It all started when Teresa Giudice posted a photo of the reality star on her Instagram page. The next thing Manzo knew, people were inquiring about the noticeable change to her face.
Even more shocking than Manzo’s appearance is the admission that her nose job took place two years ago. She itemized that, as well as her other procedures such as Botox and a couple of chemical peels, on her own Instagram account. Manzo was also quick to explain to fans that she takes care of herself and drinks lots of water.
“Some of you are commenting that I look different. You’re absolutely right. When the thing on the center of your face changes you’re gonna look different lol,” she wrote. “Two years ago I got my nose fixed. Since I was going under anesthesia anyway (which I totally despise) I had @drghavami make a few tweaks so I didn’t have to go the filler route.” Manzo went on to explain that her new nose took a bit of time to get used to, since she had her previous nose for 45 years. However, she feels that the recent tweaks she’s undergone have continued to make her look younger and younger.
Manzo was an active cast member of The Real Housewives of New Jersey when it debuted back in 2009. She appeared in two seasons of the show before deciding that the Bravo franchise just wasn’t for her. Then, in 2014, Manzo made a return to the series, only to depart the following season. From there, she moved to Los Angeles, following the finalization of her divorce from Tommy Manzo. She started her own skincare line and began dating businessman Dave Cantin. She told People back in 2016 that she wouldn’t be making another return to reality television. According to Manzo, she wasn’t aware of what she was getting herself into when she signed up for The Real Housewives of New Jersey. Nowadays, in her post-series life, the 47-year-old mom seems to be much more clear about what she wants for herself.
Good for Dina! Her new features are beautiful and chic. While she was always attractive with an exotic Mediterranean look, her new nose frames her face and gives her the appearance of a ’60s-era bombshell. It’s also commendable that Manzo was open enough to speak out about the procedures she had. So many celebrities refuse to own up to the work they have done, giving the false impression of perfection. She’s also shown that making a few tweaks here and there can be a healthy way to boost one’s self esteem at any age. Cosmetic surgery has been said to have an addictive quality to it, so here’s hoping Dina sees the results she was hoping for and stops now, because her face is fabulous.
