Ex-Real Housewives of New York City star Bethenny Frankel responds to Andy Cohen saying she’ll return. It seems the chance of seeing Bethenny again is not totally out of the question, which gives viewers immense hope for the future of the Bravo franchise.
As reported, Real Housewives Of New York City all-star made it official once again, announcing she would be departing from the hit show. Frankel detailed her reasoning behind the move, saying she wanted to focus more on her Skinny Girl business and try to spend more quality time with her daughter. Frankel was an original cast member of the show when it aired back in 2008. While this is not the first time that Frankel has left the show fans are hoping that all this is a cruel joke, as she is a fan favorite.
After Frankel’s departure, Andy Cohen took to his show to air his opinion on the matter, saying he thinks one day she would return to The Real Housewives of New York City. He called the housewife franchise the “mob” as it is very hard to get out of it once you are accepted. Ahead of season 12, the TV personality said that Frankel was an intricate part of the franchise’s success. She showed how a driven, single woman could conquer the business world, and fans enjoyed watching that storyline. Cohen went on to say he could see her dropping by for a quick cup of coffee or to bust Ramona Singer just for fun. Cohen believed that Frankel was the party and was ever so grateful for the time she did spend on the show.
On September 22 while attending the Emmy Awards, Frankel spoke with Entertainment Tonight saying that her Bravo family had taken out an ad to congratulate her for her B Strong movement and everything her relief organization was doing to help with the natural disasters. She continued to say that she and the network still have a great relationship and will continue to do so. The partnership between herself and Bravo was nothing but amazing and the housewife journey was pretty “exciting.” She ended her impromptu interview by saying she is a girl’s girl who is always rooting for women, that leaving the show will start a new chapter in her life.
While to fans it may seem that Frankel has gotten off the merry-go-round of reality TV, she is said to be in talks with famed producer Mark Burnett, focusing on a new production deal. She did say that most of these new shows happen to be a female based, saying one show is half documentary and half competition. Until the anncument of Frankel’s new shows, fans are left to wonder who will pick up the slack when it comes to being brutally honest on The Real Housewives of New York City.
